IP REQUIREMENTS

Trademark Application:

  • Copy of the Power of attorney simply signed
  • print of the trademark
  • List of the goods / services covered by the application
  • A certified copy of the home registration / Application (if priority claim)

Trademark Renewal

  • Copy of the Power of attorney signed by Registrant

Patent Application / National Phase Entries of PCT

  • Copy of the Power of attorney simply signed by the applicant
  • The specification in French or Arabic
  • Drawings, if any
  • The priority document (not necessary for national phase entries of PCT)

Validation of EPO patents

  • Copy of the Power of attorney simply signed by the applicant
  • The granted claims in French or Arabic

Industrial Design / Model Applications

  • Copy of the Power of attorney simply signed by the applicant
  • Drawings or Photos
  • The priority document (if priority claim)

The missing documents can be filed at the IP Office within three months after filing date

Assignments

  • The Deed of Assignment legalized by Assignor and Assignee, at the Consulate of Morocco
  • The original Power of attorney simply signed by the Assignor or the Assignee

License Agreement (Recordal not compulsory)

  • The License agreement legalized by both parties, at the Consulate of Morocco

Merger

  • A Notarized or certified document attesting the merger

Change of Name

  • A Notarized document attesting the change of name

Change of Address

  • Simple copy of the Power of attorney simply signed
